RESCHEDULED FOR Monday June 18th, 3-5PM-  Play and Grow at JMD Farm Market and Garden Center
We have space to run and play at our new location and our goal is to satisfy the needs of the whole family.  With that goal we are building a natural playground and starting Monday June 18th we are going to have organized play time for kids of all ages to come out and enjoy the shade of our tall oaks and play on the pallet swinging bridge, log walks, stump jump, and potting shed.  Also there are hiking trails that traverse the 60 acres behind the greenhouses if exploring is more of your little ones style.                      Free, but please click here to let us know you will be coming!

Wednesday June 27th, 6:30 PM- Farm to Table Dinner
Join us and Chef Caitie with Blue Oregano for an unforgetable evening of fine dining.  Menu will consist of a multi-course meal featuring products from JMD Farm.  Event will be held outside weather permitting under the shade of the porch roof overlooking our beautiful perenial displays and raised beds.  If the weather doesn't coroporate we will be inside in our brand new building full of windows and natural light.  We are super excited for you to join us.  This event is by reservation only and tickets prove to sale fast so be sure to get yours today!

Saturday July 7th, 10AM ‘Vertical Gardening with Millard Driver’
For those who have been amazed and mesmerized by the vertical garden in our garden center and think they might be interested in experimenting with a small scale setup at home you should plan on attending this event.  Millard will take you through the design process and talk about planting and maintaining your own vertical garden.  You will go home with a tube filled with soil and water line for you to begin your own vertical garden at home, all you will need to add is plants!  Event will be by pre-purchased tickets due to planning for materials.  Click here for tickets !

Saturday July 14th, 3PM ‘Backyard Cookout’
Come join us for a festive evening of burgers and brats.  Made with our grass fed beef the burgers will be served with a selection of seasonal toppings right from the gardens.  For an additional fee you can top it with our bacon and some cheese for a melt in your mouth bacon cheeseburger!  Brat selection will include mild Italian and hot Italian pork or for those wanting to really experience something new hot Italian lamb brats.  All plates will be served with chips and a drink.  You won’t go wrong with this one, mark you calendars!  For planning purchases event will only be available through pre-purchased tickets.  Tickets will be on sale through Friday July 13th.  
Saturday August 4th, 1PM 'Salsa and Pickles with Chef Laura Bon Cash' 
Chef Laura can make an extraordinary fresh summer pickle and you can't ever go wrong with salsa making when all the tomatoes are coming in.  Come join Laura for a fun afternoon of cooking.  This might be a good one for the dudes cause most dudes like salsa and a good cold beer.  Cold beer will be offered to attendees while learning the ins and outs of pickle and salsa making!  Space will be limited!  Event will be held in our new commercial kitchen in the garden center. Saturday September 15th, 2PM- 'Apple Tasting'
Think you know what your favorite apple is? Want to try a large selection without a large expense.  Great for all ages, show me a toddler who doesn’t like apples!  We will have a selection of 8-10 (possibly more) different varieties to taste along with a selection of dips.  Tickets will be available soon.   
JMD Farm Market will be offering a large selection of tree fruit all summer long starting with cherries, through peaches, into apples.  

Saturday September 29th, 11AM- 'Fall Desserts with Frieda Driver'
Many people have ranted and raved about Apple Crisp and Pumpkin Cookies made by Frieda Driver.  At last year’s open house those that attended were offering to buy the platter of pumpkin cookies!  If you are interested in learning how to make these wonderful fall desserts please make sure you attend this event.  Space will be limited!  Event will be held in our new commercial kitchen in the garden center. Saturday October 27th, 1PM 'Savory Soups with Chef Laura Bon Cash'  
Nothing better in the fall than a good warm soup as the cold weather begins to settle in.  Chef Laura who has great experience with soup making being the former head chef at 'Stone Soup Books and Cafe', will lead attendees through the staples of putting together amazing soups with local fresh ingredients.  Enjoy a glass of wine while standing around a warm kitchen full of wonderful smells and good company.  Space will be limited!  Event will be held in our new commercial kitchen in the garden center.
